I've hacked up my airport, thus nullifying the warranty, and attached a pigtail to the Lucent card that's inside it. It's very cool indeed.
I've hooked up my airport in my car with a 12v adaptor in the cigarette lighter. The voltage is higer (14.4) when the car is running and I'm to paranoid to start the car while it's plugged in, but it may work.
I really want someone to port NetBSD to the airport. That would just really make my day. If only I were more clueful...
